Lil Waynes Latest Letter From Prison
HIGH HOPES AND GRATITUDE
Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.
So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair. I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some. I applaud my Young Money family for what they’re doing. As I’m not surprised. This is what we’re supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.
I’ll end this letter, but never my love. I’m gone. Oh, and how ‘bout dem Lakers!?!
P.S. I thank my fans for appreciating me the way you do

Dumbfounded, Upcoming Asian Rapper!! 100!!!!
Dumbfoundead was never that timid asian kid who did all your homework in math class. In fact, if you were to cheat off him, you would be fucking yourself over. He was the class clown and the kid who asked for your lunch tickets so he can get a second lunch. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he came to reside in Koreatown, Los Angeles, at the age of 3 and discovered Project Blowed at the age of 16.
Being exposed to hip-hop at an early age, he randomly walked into a community center in Macarthur Park when he was 14 years old, running into Los Angeles OG’s such as Mark Luv (Zulu Nation), Poppin’ Chuck, Cre8 (RTN), and EZ Rock (Rocksteady). This is where he started freestyling and learning the history of hip-hop. The year after, a friend from high school took him to a place called Project Blowed in South Central where he found out what DOPE really was. that night he heard some of the most amazing freestylers, rappers like Otherwize, Riddlore, Nocando, P.E.A.C.E., and many more. After ripping countless cyphers and battles he earned the respect of the OG’s and became one of the “Blowdians” himself

Big Sean GOOD MUSIC
Sean Anderson, p.k.a. Big Sean, is the newest artist signed to G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam at the young age of 20. Sean was born in Santa Monica, CA and relocated to the west side of Detroit, MI when he was 2 months old. He was raised by his mother and grandparents who worked steadfastly to instill in him the principles of hard work and determination. Sean attended the Detroit Waldorf School, a school of art, from Kindergarten to 8th Grade where he was introduced to a spectrum of art and culture. He later attended Cass Technical High School where he furthered his music career, met life long friends, and gained the support of fans and peers as he independently sold copies of his music. Sean gained a strong relationship with 102.7FM, a local radio station in Detroit where he displayed his rhyming skills weekly. There, he met Kanye West after a radio interview in 2005 and got a chance to display his talent by freestyling for Mr. West, giving him a copy of his music and sending numerous tracks for him to critique. After months of submitting songs and numerous meetings, Sean finally got the call from Kanye West himself saying that he wanted to sign him. Big Sean officially signed to G.O.O.D. Music in 2007 and then signed to Island Def Jam in 2008. Sean has two mixtapes under his belt starting with “Finally Famous–The Mixtape” [Nov. 2007] and “U Know Big Sean–Finally Famous Vol. 2” [Nov. 2008]. His hit single “Getcha Some” vastly took over the airwaves and created major buzz for the artist and quickly solidified him as a breakout star. The single first debuted on Kanye West’s “Cant Tell Me Nothin’ Mixtape” giving him the exposure needed to showcase and introduce his talent to the world. Big Sean is scheduled to release his debut album entitled “Finally Famous” in Spring 2009. The album features Hip Hop stars such as ten-time Grammy Awardhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award-winning artist Kanye West, Pharell, The Dream, and many more. Big Sean has been spotted beside Kanye West all over the world including Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Hawaii, etc. To stay connected to Big Sean check out his official MySpace at WWW.MYSPACE.COM/UKNOWBIGSEAN for exclusive updates that you wont see anywhere else. Upcoming Hype "Ebonics"
Download the FREE "PSA" MIXTAPE
Bio: Youth combined with truth, that’s what defines Shelton “Ebonics” Long, the 19-year-old Master of Ceremonies from Providence, Rhode Island. Shying away from the stereotyped image of the average rapper with negative messages about murder, sex and drugs, MC Ebonics’ lyrics focus on the truths of life, including dealing with relationship problems and people who aren’t all they seem to be: “Everything I write comes from the heart.” Ebonics first single, ‘Hata Blockaz’, has already gained almost 700,000 plays on his MySpace page. Ebonics has transformed a rough upbringing into a successful future: “Growing up was pretty bad. I never had a stable home.” His father was often selling drugs or spending time in jail, leaving Ebonics and his single, world-weary mother to fend for themselves: “My mother and I would get death threats. They would shoot up my mother’s only vehicle, which she didn’t have money to repair at times, so we would be stuck taking the bus a lot. Every negative thing that happened, no matter what, my mother never gave up. She would always tell me that things would get better.” The two eventually moved from Connecticut to Providence, and, finally, to Cranston, Rhode Island. Ebonics started writing lyrics to relieve stress, and his hobby soon turned into a full-time occupation: “My family knew I was put on this earth to entertain others, no matter what.” Since then, Ebonics has honed his skills with performances in various talent shows, charity events, and in popular venues such as the 305 Club in East Providence and Jerky’s Live Music Hall and Sticky Fingers in Providence. Ebonics’ song writing process is freely structured: Freestyling at home often has him jotting down lyrics for later use and he always writes the chorus of a song first. “At times, I automatically know what I’m going to write as soon as I hear the beat. Something inside me paints the picture before I even know what I’m going to talk about. As soon as I come up with the title of a song, I think about how each verse is going to have a different impact on the song as a whole.” “My biggest influences are artists like Common, Nas, Talib Kwali, Mos Def, and India Arie,” says Ebonics. “I look up to each one as a lyricist and an inspiration.” Since Ebonics also dances, he looks up to Diddy and T-Pain, who both know how to make people feel good through wordplay. One thing’s for certain: Ebonics has a bright future. He’s already won first place at the Step Up Competition at the Columbus Theatre in Providence. He has a management contract with World Wide Talent Search, and his first professionally-produced single “Hata Blockaz,” produced by Mondo Music Productions, was released on Internet Radio in November 2008. Ebonics is featured on a UK artists hip-hop albums by Scratch Promotions scheduled to drop in February 2009. And, always, Ebonics’ focus is on telling the truth: “I never second guess myself saying, ‘Wow, maybe I shouldn’t have said that certain thing in my song.’” Ebonics is 100% real, now and always. “I can only be me, and nobody else but me.”
